There have been plenty of rumours swirling around as to whether our pets are susceptible to Covid-19 but with very few confirmed answers.
To put the rumours to bed, Hughesy, Ed & Erin invited virologist Dr Gary Grohmann on the show to answer a few of the team's burning questions.
After speaking to a woman named Claudia who had contracted the virus and spread it to members of her household, Hughesy wanted to know whether Claudia should have had her dog tested for the virus.
Dr Grohmann tells us whether it would have been safer to get the dog tested, whether it's possible for animals to infect humans with Covid-19 and if it's safe to walk dogs with the virus around our neighbourhoods.
