A slight hiccup for the Wagga Comedy Festival over the weekend, with comedian Wil Anderson late to his show, after he was arrested at the Wagga Airport, following his flight from Sydney.
The 43-year-old was released without charge, telling Nine News Riverina it was all a misunderstanding, after he started pacing on his Qantas flight.
Anderson says it was to ease his back pain, but his intentions were misinterpreted by staff.
He was full of praise for Wagga police for their handling of the incident, which also gave him some material for his show.
