A Central Coast Hospital has reportedly topped the list of the "most costly" when it comes to medical mistakes across NSW.
According to Channel Nine News, Wyong Hospital has had to pay out over $1.5M to 13 patients for stuff ups over the past twelve months.
Liverpool Hospital was next in line, paying out 21 compensation claims worth a total of $1.4M, while John Hunter Hospital paid out over $1.3M.
Over the past twelve months, the State's public hospitals have spent more than $21 million dollars to compensate nearly 600 patients for medical mistakes.
